Hot or Cold just a solid boot
Excelent boot! The first thing i noticed was the fit and feel isn't reminicant of a boot but more like runnning shoes they have great all around comfort. As far as heat they breath great you can still use these in 100 F plus weather and for cold i've posted with these at about 2o F and there comfortable below that as long as your moving they stay comfortable down to about -20 f after that you better put on the bunny boots. light weight and durable just i just got my second pair after three years of solid use.
I went through 2 pairs of these boots and the canvas material keeps ripping. The first pair did it within a week of having them. The second pair amazingly made it through 2 weeks. I was not rough on these boots at all. Just alot of marching and walking mostly in dry climate. It made me mad cause the overall comfort is awesome, soft sole and uppers. felt like a pair of socks. They were awesome for short runs from building to building, no shock.
Very disappointed... had these boots less than a year and one of the eyelets on the speed lace came apart from the boot. It simply torn throught the leather now I've got a dangling eyelet and having to shell out another 100+ dollars for boots.
Best Boot Ever!!
I was issued these boots in Basic and fell in love with them. They were broken in within a day or two and the padding felt great with all of the marching we did. I wear them over the summer boots we were issued all of the time. I wouldn't hesitate buying a few more pairs either! If your looking for a durable, long lasting and comfortable boot, Well I believe you have found your match!!
Finally a boot that is effective at combating cold feet!!! This is the most comfortable boot I have EVER worn!! If you aren't sure whether or not to buy this boot...STOP THINKING ABOUT IT AND BUY IT! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!
Great construction and very comfortable. They run about 1/2 size larger than the black boots.
My Bellvilles are actually the older, black, ICB (Infantry Combat Boot). The boot advertized here is different only in that its tan and that the sole looks to be a newer design with even more foam midsole.
I live near on coast of Mississippi (near where the eye passed over). During and after hurricane Katrina, I did a lot of work in wet, nasty conditions. My boots kept my feet dry and, even though the leather was soft and comfortable (they felt broken-in right out of the box), they withstood several months of crawling around in various debris- especially twisted sheetmetal and protruding nails. The boot bodies never tore through and the cushioned soles saved my back and knees, which used to hurt after a week of work.
I won't wear any other boots now that I've worn these. I'll be buying another pair of Bellvilles when these finally wear out.
The most comfortable Cold weather boot
I purchased a set of these before my last OEF deployment and I was pleased at how comfortable they were and how quick they became broken in. They breathe much better than the all leather cold weather boots.
I bought this boot to go with the new ACU. I must say that this is the most comfortable boot I have ever worn. And as an Infantryman, I have worn out a lot of boots over the years!
