The one I carried in Katrina, Rita, other major operations + 20 months in Afghanistan, is now at Bragg while my sone uses it at SFAS. I buy these and give them as presents to folks who need a reliable light that they can carry in their pocket or purse.
Love this light. Helps me a lot on night missions to see maps and other stuff!! Perfect to hang off of your LCE shoulder strap or Body Armor webbing.
I purchased a couple of these at the local military exchange near Anchorage. They were small, but worked very well, and were bright. They have a continuous light mode, and a strobe mode. They are great in a survival kit in Alaska. The flashing strobe can be seen for a long distance, if you get lost or injured. I also attach them to the collars of my dogs in strobe mode. I can track my dogs in the Alaska dark. Also nice to illuminate you while walking or exercising at night. The battery changes easily, to give them a long life of use.
