my nephew,us navy, bought me a cricket, and then someone forgot to return his. The theft could speak fo itself, the fact of its inherent solidity, but the thief gets not anoth'r word. I'm 60 yrs of knife lover,n let my last word be you could never get a folder that is this close to a well made fixed blade.Never. You need to handle it a bit,to adjust to the double lock, but its worth the time.Just keep it close n you'll use it plenty, but be careful.I haven't sharpened it in a year but still gives a nasty scratch .Thanks fo' yer time.jesse

I have 3 of these one I use everyday. the second is in my rain gear and the other is with my Search and Rescue gear. I do not leave home without this knife. If you only buy one knife this is the one you need. Sharp, sturdy, it can standup to anything that comes your way. Trust me it can save your life!!

I bought this knife on accident from a Mens store in my local city. This is the best accident ever! I was the envy of all my friends! This blade is super sharp, super reliable, and sits so comfortably in my hand. I even carry it on me casually when I go out! Thats how much I love it! Thumbs up CRKT!

Outstanding piece of equipment

In my opinion, the M16-14SF is one of the best folders i have ever owned. I carried mine with me every day last year in Iraq. It has a very reliable action and locking mechanism. The finish is alot more durable than I initially expected. And it has held its edge after cutting countless zip ties and rope. It is a rock solid knife that was there for me when I needed it.
