I have the O/D ss shirts that I wear for work. It has the O/D mesh so it blends in with movement. They are somewhat warm in the summer months when it's humid but dry heat weather they are much more comfortable . The color has faded one shade but they have had many washings but still look fine.
The white mesh venting is easily exposed when bending over so the camo effect of the colored shirt is lost. After a few washings the outer material shrinks at the stitching so this white material is visible without careful ironing which can be a problem in the sandbox or New Orleans where irons are impractical to pack. The black color quickly fades and you tend to sweat in the chest and abdomen area because of all the double layers and pockets. The collar buttons fall off easily too.
The only thing wrong with this shirt is that they use a white mesh in the back to vent the shirt. They should really consider using the same color fabric as the shirt to give it a cleaner look.
