Not as hoped.
I wanted to save a little money, but this sword wasn't the right choice. I took it into Marlow White to compare with the WKC sabers they offer. There was no comparison. The hand guard was actually different, no etching, rust on a portion of the blade, etc. If you're going to buy one, do it right the first time, go with the WKC. Here, for $80, I got what I paid for. Won't happen again.

This sword appears to be a buy for the price though I have not yet held it. Prices on simular military equipment will run fron $150-$500 for the germman forged, gold trimed version.
