This is a good pack at a great price for those on a three to five day excursion. You can fit a lot in it and it carries well for not being a frame pack. The side pouches are generous in size and add an extra convenience to things you need to get to without digging. I haven’t seriously field tested this yet, but it seems to be well constructed and when coated with some water proofing spray it stands up well against water in the shower ( I always test gear that way, but didn‘t test it before hand). It is exactly what I was looking for. My only complaint is the clip fasteners. When I first pulled it out I started adjusting the straps and the second fastener I grabbed onto broke. The plastic seems a little stiff and weak, but time will tell. The over all construction of the pack seems good and its not like the fasteners can’t be replaced easily if they fail.
