Great value, well made

I bought this as a replacement for the 'wannabe' one that the Aussie army foisted on us diggers. Very happy with it! Nice chunky zipper, velcro fasteners on the sleeves, great finish and toasty warm. I'm gonna bet that it will wear better and outlast the issued one. Would order from this site again, and would definitely recommend this item to a friend.

Great Jacket!

Got it in today in OD. Looks great and fits great. I ordered one size larger than my regular size of XL. Condor runs small, so always order a size larger than your normal size. I slapped a patch on the side, and was off. Looks well made. - November 19, 2011

Condor Microfleece Jacket- High Value Low Cost
Rating: 4.0 Stars
The Condor Microfleece is a very well designed jacket with many outstanding features. The fleece material itself is a light to midweight fleece, probably between Polartec 100 and 200. It doesn't pill or pick up nearly as much hair or filth as a lower quality fleece does. The stitching is very good quality and uniform, even on the inside of the jacket where many manufacturers try to cut corners to save money. It will require a good look over to find and remove all the loose strings leftover from the sewing process. The polyester lining helps to aid in ventilation, the jacket is very breathable. It should be noted that this is a non-membrane jacket, but for the price we are paying this isn't a big deal. As for heat retention, we are given a mandarin style collar that zips a little above your chin, an elastic waist bungee to cinch the bottom of the jacket, and lycra/spandex type material extendable cuffs that are semi heat retaining. I usually only use the extendible cuffs when wearing gloves, they are a little long. The pockets are well placed, and the 5 hold a lot of stuff. The fleece lining the handwarmer pockets is a lower quality fleece, and can cling to cracking hands due to the cold weather, but that is just me. The two way zipper is fairly easy to operate, and comes in handy when you are sitting down and don't want it to bunch up on you. I have found the wind flap does work, however since this product is still fairly new it sometimes creases over. The sleeves are well designed, when the right size is chosen they don't constrict movement, but aren't baggy either. The oxford nylon reinforcements placed on the elbows, top and neck portions will definitely aid in the durability of the jacket. The velcro on the sleeves are about 4x4 inches, and will accomadate a wide variety of patches. As far as sizing goes, I would go a size larger. I am about 5'5 and 130 lbs, have a slender profile, and a medium fits pretty well. The jacket layers well with my M-65 Field Jacket and Gen I ECWCS Parka, not too much extra material bunching. The overall fit and feel of this jacket is outstanding and I highly recommend this jacket to anyone in the Law Enforcement, Military, Outdoors or just Tactical style civilian community. Thanks for reading and I hope this review helps out. Reference Nutnfancy's Youtube review of this jacket, as he goes a little more in depth and I got a lot of my info here from him. Take Care, Happy Holidays.

Great light fleece jacket
Rating: 4.0 Stars
This fleece jacket is exactly what I have been looking for. I have done several deployments, and own several jackets, this one fits the bill. I don't think it will keep me warm enough for 30oF winters, but this all purpose jacket is that excellent in between a heavy jacket and the gortex fleece liner. I only gave it a 4 star rating, not because of the product, but because of the back order. If an item is back ordered, I wish it stated as such, vice indicating it was in stock when I checked out. Although worth the month long wait, I wish their was a way to reflect the online database when ordering.

Condor Micro Fleece Jacket Review

This Product is outstanding! Its economic, warm and not to say sylish. Im not a big meat head when im in civilian gear, i like to keep it casual. (Camo isnt in style at my school) But this jacket dosent look like it would be worn in the feild, (other than the velcro on the side) I do land nav for my JROTC raider team and when its wet, cold and just downright miserable, i turn to this to keep me at my top performance.

I would highly recommend this jacket

I operate a helicopter rescue hoist for SAR operations in Florida. I needed a jacket that would provide some warmth while operating under the rotor wash in colder temperatures (30F-60F). This jacket is very comfortable and keeps me warm. it is easy to move in, even under a harness, which was exactly what I needed. The stitching is well done and you can see the quality and thought that went into every part of this jacket. The pockets are well placed and user friendly. The zippers are smooth and do not bind. Although it doesn't seem to be advertised as a wind-breaker, it stands ip very well under the rotor wash of our helicopter. If I could improve on the jacket in any way, I would: 1) add pen pockets to the left sleeve 2) slightly shorten the collar. It stands a bit high when you need it popped up 3) add under-arm vent zippers to provide some heat release when you get a little too warm.

Warm and Practical

Overall a great fleece jacket. Length good in the body and the sleeves. The only complaint I have is there seems to be too much material in the upper part of the arm/armpit area. Maybe its there for easier movement? I don't know. But I love how much storage there is in the jacket. With all the pockets I forgot which one I had my phone in. Very warm jacket though and I am happy with my purchase.

Great jacket

I love this jacket. The cut is very fitted/athletic. Pockets are well placed and there are plenty of them. The jacket performs very well. I recently wore it all day in 40 degree F temps with drizzling rain - stayed warm and dry. I've also worn it in 40 degree F temps with strong winds and stayed very comfortable. No color change with laundering. I couldn't be happier.

I like this jacket for the value, but Condor appears to have changed their coyote tan to more of a flat dark earth. The jacket matches my older 5.11 FDE LBE vest.

I love this jacket! It is warm enough but not to heavy. I have worn it in 45 degree temps with 85 percent humidity and if you are moderately active it is enough when worn over you regular clothes. It also seems to be just enough in the evenings. It always seems to be just enough, unless its raining, then all bets are off. The pockets are just right. The reinforcements on the elbows and shoulders should rule out premature wear. I LIKE IT!
