Size Runs Large
Ordered this from U.S. Cavalry a couple months ago. Normally I wear extra large and that's what I ordered.
Most reviews for non-spec (TRU-SPEC) clothing indicate that the sizes tend to run a size smaller than normal but since this type jacket is usually a bit larger in the MILSPEC version I assumed that ordering my normal size would result in a smaller size but fit just right.
Unfortunately this wasn't the case and this XL is actually a 2XL even though the label says XL.
I decided to keep the jacket instead of retuning it. If someone I know needs it then I'll give it to them and take a chance and order a large next time hoping it will be the correct size.
I bought an aftermarket version years ago which was made in the USA and it was on the large side also even though it was a medium.
Unfortunately there's no substitute to trying something on for correct wear and fit which is something you can't do online without the hassle of returning the items hoping the next one they send you is correctly labeled and fits right.
I ordered this jacket in woodland camo and it is everything the description said it was. It is comfortable and well made. It looks to be durable and will last a long time. I am a very pleased customer.
Not a M-65
I got this item in black it is very different from the standard issue M-65 the black ture spec one has a gold zipper on the back for the hood and crappy sleeve cuff zelcro the sleeve cuff in general sucks
All in all in doesn't stand up to the issued M-65 in tactability and should not be labeled as a M-65
back it goes
I was led to believe the Tru-spec line was superior to the other line for the M-65, this is not the case, back it goes.
I bought an m-65 from a 2nd hand store awhile ago, it didn't have a liner, and it was still good enough to use in snowy winters with just a fleece/thermal beneath it. I am looking forward to using my new m-65 this winter.
