It doesn't get any better

I have been using the M-16 and it's variants for nearly a quarter of a century. This is the real deal...finally a company made something of quality for that rifle. you push the spring down, and the evenness and smoothness is unbelievable. It definitely gets the nod. Top out.

Correction on previous post.

On my previous post I stated that the dust covers only go on with 29 rounds in the mag and not 30. I stand corrected. The mag actually holds 31 rounds nicely but the dust cover only goes on with 30 rounds. Even better, nice to know you can chamber the first round and still have 30 in the mag.

Awesome Mag

These PMAGs really are awesome! They are super easy to load, feed VERY reliably, and break down so easily for cleaning that a caveman could do it. The orange round indicator is easy to see at a glance so you always know how far you are from empty. One thing I have found about the dust covers though is that they snap on nice with 29 rounds in the mag but not 30. Not a big deal though. Just thought it should be mentioned.

Magpul does a great job here.

I have had one of these magazines driven over by a humvee, then took it to the rifle range, and used it to qual, then ran it over again, and used it in furhter training. I have not had a single magazine related incident with these magazines. And the maglevel window is awesome, definately helped with the range when I had multiple magazines with different loadouts, and is easy to see, even when the rifle is in your shoulder. I have nothing but love for these magazines. I purchased ten at once the first time, and will doubtless buy more when I can. Great mag, well worth the price.

Finally caught some on sale! They are supriseingly light. Narrower than GI mags. Much lighter than EasyMag. Plastic fells kind of cheap, and makes them a little noisey. Haven't quite figured out the window yet. At least you won't get caught empty. They are a solid fit in my Stag Arms AR. No wobble, and they cycle smoothly from 30 to 1. I want to get ten more. Those plastic dust covers are a great idea.
